Thanks to the generous support of individuals and businesses in the community, the club has donated over $1.8 million to charities and over $800,000 to participating schools since the Classic began.

The Sertoma High School Football Classic has become the finest community sports event in the Lowcountry and provides an avenue for the participants, cheerleaders, and band members to help local charities. Held at The Citadel's Johnson Hagood Stadium, the 26 teams participating in the Classic play for one quarter. While the teams are on the field, the cheerleaders and band members show their support from the sidelines. The school that shows the most spirit is awarded a trophy at the conclusion of the last game.

Many of our Sertoma Classic "Alumni" have gone on to promising college and professional careers!

This event is the sole fundraiser for the Sertoma Club of Charleston.
