Today the Sertoma Club of Charleston held its annual Awards Luncheon at the Citadel Alumni Center. The 2010 Football Classic Chairman Laurie Holscher presented checks on behalf of Sertoma to the following local children's charities: Winwood Farms, Eagle Harbor, SC Scottish Rite Center, Ronald Mc donald House, Camp Happy Days, West Ashley ROTC, Trinitas Foundation, Camp Sertoma and to the 28 participating high schools. Danny Gilbert was introduced as the 2011 Football Classic Chairman.

The Sertoma (which is an acronym for SERvice TO MANkind) Club of Charleston has raised and given approximately $3.5 million to local children's charities over the last forty years.
